01About FIXO

FIXO is a local home and repair services platform operating in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Customers send a request on WhatsApp, the FIXO team calls them back to understand the requirement, and FIXO arranges a suitable local service professional for the job.

FIXO does not itself perform the services listed. The professionals who carry out the work are independent tradespeople. FIXO’s role is to understand your requirement, find a suitable professional for it and coordinate the visit.

By messaging FIXO or using this website, you agree to these terms.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to request a service from FIXO.

You do not need to create an account. Booking happens entirely over WhatsApp, and the WhatsApp number you message from is how we identify and contact you.

03How bookings work

A booking is a request, not a confirmed appointment. It is confirmed only on the callback, when our team has understood the job, agreed the price with you and fixed a time.

Our team aims to call you back within about 15 minutes of your request. That is the time in which FIXO contacts you — it is not the time in which a professional reaches your home. The visit time is agreed separately on that call.

Time windows offered in the chat (9 AM–12 PM, 12 PM–3 PM, 3 PM–6 PM, 6 PM–9 PM) are preferences. The exact time is confirmed on the call and depends on availability.

Availability can depend on the service you need and where in Lucknow you are. We will tell you on the call if we cannot cover your requirement.

04Pricing and payment

There is no fixed rate card. Prices shown on this site as “starting from” are indicative minimums for a basic visit, not quotes.

The price for your job is agreed with you on the callback, before any work begins. If the job turns out to be different from what was described and the price needs to change, that must be agreed with you before the extra work is done.

Payment is made after the work is completed, directly to the professional or as agreed on the call — cash or UPI. Materials and spare parts, where needed, are charged in addition unless stated otherwise.

05Your responsibilities as a customer

Describe the problem accurately, so we can send someone suited to it.

Give a correct address and be reachable on the number you messaged from.

Provide safe access to the work area, and reasonable access to power and water where the job needs it.

Pay the agreed amount once the work is done.

06Cancellations

You can cancel at any time before the professional starts travelling, at no cost — just tell us on the same WhatsApp thread.

If a professional has already reached your home and the job is then cancelled, a visit charge may apply. You will be told about it before it is charged.

If a professional cannot attend, we will tell you as early as we can and try to arrange someone else.

07No service guarantee

FIXO does not offer a service guarantee or warranty on the work performed. We do not promise that a repair will last a particular period, and we make no claim about being the cheapest or the best option available.

What we do instead: the price is agreed with you before the work starts, and you pay only after the job is done. If something is not right, tell us on the same WhatsApp thread and our team will take it up with the professional.

Any manufacturer warranty on parts supplied is between you and that manufacturer.

08Prohibited conduct

Do not use FIXO to request anything unlawful, or to harass, threaten or discriminate against a professional.

Do not misuse the WhatsApp number — spam, automated messaging and abusive content may result in your number being blocked.

09Limitation of liability

The professionals who perform the work are independent tradespeople. FIXO coordinates the job but does not supervise the work itself.

To the extent permitted by law, FIXO’s liability in connection with any single job is limited to the amount paid to FIXO for that job. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and continuing to use FIXO after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
