01About Fixo

Fixo is a marketplace that connects customers who need home services with independent, verified local professionals ("workers"). Fixo is not the provider of the services listed — workers are independent professionals who perform the work directly for the customer.

By creating an account or using Fixo, you agree to these terms.

02Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Fixo. Workers must additionally complete Aadhaar verification and a live video KYC call before they can accept jobs.

One person may hold only one worker account. We detect and block duplicate accounts created with the same Aadhaar.

03How bookings and pricing work

Customers describe the work they need. Verified workers nearby then send their own bids. The customer may negotiate and chooses which bid to accept — Fixo does not set the price.

The agreed amount is between the customer and the worker. Any estimate shown before a bid is indicative only.

04Payments

Customers can pay online or in cash. Online payments are handled by our payment partner; Fixo does not store your card or UPI credentials.

Work is confirmed complete only when the customer shares their completion code with the worker. Worker earnings are credited to their Fixo wallet and can be withdrawn to their bank account.

05Customer responsibilities

To keep everyone safe and the service working well, customers agree to:

• Describe the work honestly and provide a correct, accessible address.
• Provide a safe environment for the worker to do their job.
• Pay the agreed amount once the work is completed.
• Share the completion code only after the work is genuinely done.
• Treat workers with respect and not contact them outside the platform for the same job to avoid fees.

06Worker responsibilities

Workers are independent professionals and agree to:

• Provide genuine identity documents and complete KYC honestly.
• Only select skills they can genuinely perform — falsely claiming a skill may result in penalties or removal.
• Arrive at the agreed time, or at the customer’s scheduled time for scheduled jobs.
• Quote fairly and honour the agreed price.
• Perform work safely, professionally and to a reasonable standard.
• Keep location sharing on while on an active job.

07Cancellations

A customer may cancel a booking before the work begins. Repeated or last-minute cancellations by either side may lead to restrictions on the account.

If a worker cannot attend, they must cancel as early as possible so the customer can rebook.

08Service guarantee

Eligible jobs carry a 30-day service guarantee: if the same issue recurs within 30 days, we will arrange for it to be addressed. The guarantee covers workmanship on the job performed and does not cover new or unrelated issues, misuse, or normal wear and tear.

09Ratings and reviews

Customers may rate and review workers after a completed job. Reviews must be honest and relate to the actual service received. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fake or unrelated.

10Prohibited conduct

You may not:

• Impersonate anyone or use false identity documents.
• Create multiple accounts to evade verification, ratings or penalties.
• Harass, threaten or discriminate against any user.
• Use Fixo for anything illegal or unsafe.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or abuse the platform.

11Limitation of liability

Fixo operates the platform that connects customers and workers. Workers are independent and are responsible for the work they perform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fixo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from a job.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Indian law.

12Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, engages in fraud, or puts the safety of other users at risk. You can close your account at any time.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Fixo evolves. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Fixo after that means you accept the updated terms.

14Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Bihar, India.
